Operation Dairyland
Dairyland racetrack in Kenosha, Wisconsin will be closing on December 31, 2009. Hundreds of Greyhounds will be relocated and retired. The closing at this time of year and during the current economic climate could create the "Perfect Greyhound Storm." The Greyhound Alliance is committed to supporting the relocation and retirement efforts in every way possible, and we will need all of the help we can get.
The Greyhound Alliance is comitted to supporting greyhound rescue, adoption and welfare. Whether through education, fundraising, or more hands-on efforts like transport, placement, we are committed to doing our part. Thanks to the generosity of our many supporters. |
